Vision is the most important thing a great leader must have. No success came from those who did not visualize it first. Vision is not only seeing and going for what is beyond. It is given by God to everyone for them to make a positive impact to the world and leave a lasting inspiration for the succeeding generations.

Vision is given by God to mankind so that he can be of purpose, because God is a purposeful God. Everyone of us has the ability to be a leader, for God gave each one of us a vision. However, it is up to us whether we become the leaders we were designed to be.

A leader who pursues his vision has a burning passion and patience for it. He also knows the extent of his abilities and the best way he can implement change. With vision comes cooperation, for no great deed is done by one man alone.

Aside from vision, a great leader must be a good example. He should live by his principles and do what is morally right and good. It is through a leader's actions that people see his integrity as a leader.

Last but not the least, a great leader must also be a great server, because leaders lead to serve others. Not only that, leaders also lead to serve God. Leaders are remembered because they leave an inspiration not only for the people around them, but also for others who have heard of their role as a catalyst for change.
